2010/08/31 Announcement: Notice of intention to claim a deduction for personal super contributionsnew!
-
01.09.2010
-
The Australian Taxation Office said they are finding that some APRA-regulated super funds are issuing their own notice of intention to claim a deduction for personal super contributions form to their members. Many of these forms do not include the ATO mandatory information and the declaration which are required to make the form a valid notice. We have also noticed other issues with the way some funds handle these notices. Assist your members who want to claim or vary a deduction for personal super contributions by following the steps below.

2010/07/19 ATO eSAT 3.0.0 released
-
20.07.2010
-
Today, we release version 3.0.0 of eSAT. The new version contains updated reference material which auditors can use to assist with audits for the 2010 year. An ABN/Name validation has been included as part of the lodgment process for both ACAs and ACRs. Validation reduces the chance of sending an ACR where the ABN and name on Super Fund Lookup don't match the details held in eSAT. The validation also stops lodgments where the ABN does not belong to a super fund. We would like to improve our understanding of how you use eSAT and whether or not it meets your needs. Your responses are confidential, and will help us assess whether the intent of the tool has been met, and we can focus our efforts on making meaningful changes to eSAT that will suit you.
You can download our feedback and improvements form at any time. We appreciate the time you spend in providing your feedback. When you have completed the form, send it to:
